Rue's story began under a downed tree where a kind woman discovered her hiding with her puppy. Sadly, by the time we arrived, her puppy was gone, and we’re not sure what happened. Rue was terrified of people, and it took over two hours of patience and kindness to earn her trust.

Fast forward to today, Rue is a completely different dog. At just about a year old, she has blossomed into a playful, loving pup who adores life and the company of others. Rue was a young mother—barely out of puppyhood herself—but now she gets to experience the carefree joy she deserves.

She loves going for walks, whether on-leash or off, and she’s a pro at staying by your side. Rue is wonderful with other dogs, enjoying playtime with all her foster siblings. Her sweet, gentle nature shines through in everything she does, and she’ll happily share cuddles and affection with her people. And let’s not forget her love of food—Rue never says no to a treat!
